Japans Restaurant ISSA stands for traditional, high quality, and authentic way of preparing Japanese food with guaranteed freshness of all the ingredients used. All meals will always be prepared from the fresh ingredients after you have ordered.

We serve all varieties of Sushi, Sashimi and Tempura dishes in the traditional Japanese way. There is a broad range of meat and fish dishes that can be grilled, cooked, steamed, fried or prepared raw. The choice is yours!

At ISSA we add different specialties and authentic regional well-known dishes to our menu you will not find in any other Japanese restaurant in Amsterdam! These can all be combined with a overwhelming choice of Sake's, Japanese Gins, Japanese beer and whisky.

The Chef, the owner, of restaurant ISSA is an autodidact who has gained his skills by working in several high standard Japanese restaurants in the world. The preparation of Sushi and other traditional dishes is his true craftsmanship and his chefs at ISSA. His passion to advise the nicest wines with your meal.
